Pro-Brexit campaign fined for data breach

A British media on Friday fined a top pro-campaign and an company headed by its donor for violating data protection rules.

Leave.EU and Eldon -- known as GoSkippy Insurance at the time -- were fined a total of 120,000 pounds (USD 157,000, 137,000 euros).

The amount was reduced by 15,000 pounds from the fine originally announced in November following an appeal.
