HYDERABAD: In a peculiar case, a 24-year-old man approached Guntur Urban SP’s office and sought his help to find his real parents on Friday. The complainant was identified as Nagendra Prasad.
According to police sources, he informed SP Ch Vijaya Rao that he was kidnapped by a woman, when he was six-year-old back in 2001, from Guntur and was left at the hands of beggars in Warangal. Later, when he was begging in the streets, a rickshaw-puller who showed sympathy rescued and handed him over to an NGO, Sai Seva Trust.
Later, he completed his degree and even began taking up a private job. Determined that he would be reunited with his parents someday.
Nagendra now gave few descriptions about his family to the cops who are looking to identify his real parents and their whereabouts.
Cops are also looking to see if there was any case registered back in 2001 about a missing child.
