Over 700 tour operators from more than 100 countries are participating in the expo, arranged at the Tuyap Fair and Congresium Center in Istanbul, one of the top tourism destinations of Turkey.
The four-day expo is anticipated to draw approximately 10, 0000 domestic and international visitors.
The expo will give limelight to the accommodation, travel, health tourism, transportation, information technologies, organization services, entertainment and hotel equipment sectors.
Experts world over will also give speeches during the expo.
Culture and Tourism Minister Mehmet Nuri Ersoy took part in the expo’s opening ceremony on Thursday.
In 2018, the expo drew more than 5,000 visitors from 85 countries.
