Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu gave vent to his anger and anguish over the NDA Government "totally ignoring Andhra Pradesh in the interim Union Budget" and warned the BJP of "facing the wrath of the people of the state in the coming elections."
In an emotional address to the Assembly in Amaravati on Friday, Naidu, wearing a black shirt in protest, castigated the BJP for "not granting the promised special category status to the State and not implementing the provisions of the AP Re-organisation Act, 2014, in letter and spirit."
He accused the BJP of "adding insult to injury" and warned the party of serious consequences if it tried "to trample upon the self-respect of the Telugu people."
Later, the CM left for New Delhi to participate in the meeting of the non-NDA parties to fight against the BJP in the coming elections.
