Uber delays launch of boat services in Mumbai

MUMBAI: UberBoat pilot in Mumbai won't be going live from Friday but the service is expected to launch at the earliest.
Uber India tweeted on Thursday late night: "Due to unforeseen operational issues, the UberBoat pilot in Mumbai will not go live from Friday. Our teams are working hard to ensure that we launch the service on our platform as soon as possible.”
The UberBoat service was to be launched from Gateway of India for Mandwa and Elephanta from Friday morning at 8am. The services will have six seater speedboats and 10 seater speedboats and scheduled to operate from 8am to 5pm daily.
