Real estate broker’s house burgled; gold & cash stolen
TNN | Feb 2, 2019, 00:20 ISTTirupur: Miscreants broke into the house of a real estate broker at Kangeyam here and made away with 40 sovereigns of gold and Rs 70,000 cash on Wednesday.
The incident took place when K Nataraj, of Ponnammal Layout at Kangeyam, along with his wife and daughter, went to Thiruvidaimaruthur temple near Kumbakonam in Thajavur district on Wednesday. When they returned on Thursday evening, they found front door of the house was broken open, and gold and cash wer missing from the almirah.
Nataraj immediately informed the Tirupur south police, who registered a case. tnn
