NEW DELHI: Delhi-Noida routes are expected to witness traffic jams as a group of farmers is marching towards Delhi from Pari Chowk in Greater Nodia .

Police say that adequate arrangements have been made to stop them at the DND border where they are expected to gather.

Joint commissioner (traffic), Alok Kumar, said that the Delhi traffic police is coordinating with their Noida counterparts to divert traffic through the Akshardham road in the meantime.

"Due to the proposed rally by the farmers, traffic coming from Noida via DND is likely to be affected after 2 pm. We have requested people to follow the instructions of the traffic police on road or the social media pages of the traffic police for planning their travel," said joint CP, Alok Kumar.
