The BJP has lined up interactions for its karyakartas (functionaries) in Tamil Nadu with senior national and regional leaders ahead of the general elections.
According to party leaders, Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Nirmala Sitharaman, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh will hold meetings with the functionaries in various Parliamentary constituencies in Tamil Nadu. Though the AIADMK, with which the BJP appears to be keen on forging electoral ties, has invited applications from ticket aspirants for all 40 constituencies in Tamil Nadu and Puducherry, the BJP is putting up a brave face saying the development would not deter its preparations for the polls.
