VHP Dharma Sansad is the original, says RSS leader

Allahabad: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar, on Thursday, quashed the convention organised by Shankaracharya of Dwarkapeeth to discuss the Ram temple issue at the Mela ground and said that the original ‘Dharam Sansad’ convened by Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) would take a decision on the Ram temple issue on Friday.
On January 30, the Shankaracharya of Dwarkapeeth Swami Swaroopanand had convened the ‘Param Dharam sansad’ at Mela ground and announced that the saint community would march to Ayodhya on February 21to lay the foundation stone for the Ram temple at the disputed site.

During the Param Dharam Sansad, Shankarachrya had said that the saints were ready to face bullets and even go to prison for the cause. VHP is organising a two-day convention at its camp at the Mela ground, Thursday onwards. Talking to reporters after the attending the first day of the convention, Kumar said, “Asli Dharam Sansad mandir ke bare may faisla kal legi. (The real Dharm Sansad will take a decision about the temple on Friday).”

“Santo ko mera sujhav hai ki Ayodhya me dharna-pradarshan karne se kuch nahi hoga, karna hai to pratidin sunwai kay liye karen (I suggest that saints should start protesting for a speedy hearing of the Babri Masjid case rather than demonstrating in Ayodhya).” Kumar said that Congress would be highlighting the Ram temple issue till the forthcoming Lok Sabha elections are over. Talking about the Sabarimala issue, the RSS leader, said, “The Sabarimala temple issue is not being projected as the Ayodhya of South. Under the influence of anti-social elements, some persons are entering the temple to disturb ancient norms and we are opposing them.”
