Amidst uncertainty over Shiv Sena and BJP alliance for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, BJP has started conducting review meeting of all 48 Lok Sabha seats.

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has been holding meetings with the BJP MLAs, MP's and ministers. "CM Devendra Fadnavis has been taking stock of all the 48 Lok Sabha constituencies. We are examining the ground situations. On the basis of feedbacks, candidates for each constituency will be fielded. We have to be prepared to contest for all Lok Sabha seats since we are not sure if the alliance with Sena will materialise or not. We have to keep our plan B ready in case our alliance with Sena does not work out," said senior BJP leader requesting anonymity.

He further said that once this discussion is over, then this detailed constituency-wise report will be submitted to the party high command in Delhi. "The focus of our meeting was to get our candidates elected at any cost. The chief minister also gave us the feedback of an earlier survey conducted by the party. These were valuable suggestions. Now, we will implement these suggestions in totality. The chief minister also assured that he will extend full corporation," said senior BJP MLA and minister for the state from Pune.

Another BJP member said Chief Minister Fadnavis asked them to start campaigning rather than waiting for the tickets. "We have also told the chief minister that many projects in our constituency are pending due to lack of funds. He asked us to submit fresh proposals for roads construction and other work that can be started soon rather than wait for funds. He asked us to focus on the visible work so that the voters can be convinced about our development agenda. This was a positive meeting," said senior BJP leader on the condition of anonimity.
