The Viral 'Fiji Water Girl' Is Suing The Company That Made Her Famous

A thirst for fame may have its complications.

??The Fiji Water girl; who rose to viral fame photobombing celebrities on the 2019 Golden Globes red carpet is suing the company that helped make her famous.

??Model Kelleth Cuthbert, real name Kelly Steinbach claims Fiji Water and The Wonderful Company made cardboard cutouts of her famous red carpet moment without her permission.

??In court documents obtained by E news, Steinbach not only claims she did not give her permission for the ad campaign,??She also claims she never signed away rights to 'Fiji Water Girl’.

??And says the company pressured her into signing a “fake document” on camera in order for it to look like she was signing on as a brand ambassador, according to The Blast.

??Fiji Water has hit back at Steinbach’s claims; calling the lawsuit “frivolous” and “without merit”.

??Going on to say after her shining Golden Globes moment “We negotiated a generous agreement with Ms. Cuthbert that she blatantly violated.”??The company said they’re confident they will win the case and have had an excellent reputation of working with talent in the past.

??Steinbach believes Fiji Water has made over $12 million using her image and wants the company to use the money to cover monetary damages.
