Bhopal: In broad day light, miscreants targeted two parked cars at Bank Street in MP Nagar area on Thursday and took away Rs 50000 cash and documents form one of the vehicles on Thursday noon. According MP Nagar police, complainant Malkhan Singh Yadav said that Rs 50000 cash was stolen from his parked car.
In similar incident, parked car of manager of Yes Bank, Rajesh Singh was also targeted but nothing was stolen from his vehicle. Yadav, who deals in crop seeds and runs a shop in Eithkhedi, had come to his Kotal Mahindra Bank in MP Nagar when theft in his car occurred.
Yadav said that incident took place at around noon when he had gone to the bank. On his return he found car’s window pane broken and a bag kept inside missing. The security personnel and parking operators were there but they expressed their ignorance over spotting anyone near the car, Yadav told police.
The miscreants had broken the car window pane and made away with bag containing Rs 5000 cash and documents, eh claimed. Police have registered a case under section 379 of the IPC and have started further investigation into the matter. Police said that the circumstantial evidences suggest that the victim was being followed and when he after parking the car went to the bank, the miscreants executed their plan.
