A fake university in Michigan...created by US Immigration and Customs Enforcement officials…??The goal?

To catch suspects of immigration fraud.

??NBC News is reporting that eight suspects were indicted on suspicion of visa fraud and quote, “harboring aliens for profit.” ??According to the indictments, the suspects were trying to recruit undocumented immigrants to use student visas as legal cover.

??ICE in 2015 set up the fictional college called the University of Farmington.

??The indictment says, “The University was not staffed with instructors/educators; it had no curriculum, no actual classes nor any educational activities being conducted therein.” ??Now, the fake school was set up during the Obama Administration and one immigration scholar at the University of San Francisco Law School ??told NBC that he’s never come across a sting operation like this.

??The 8 suspects could each face five years in prison if they’re convicted.
