ESO preliminary financial results for 12 months of 2018

Energijos Skirstymo Operatorius AB (hereinafter – ESO or the Company), identification code 304151376, registered office placed at Aguonu str. 24, Vilnius, Republic of Lithuania. The total number of registered ordinary shares issued by company is 894 630 333; ISIN code LT0000130023.

Preliminary ESO results for 12 months of 2018:

Electricity and natural gas distribution company’s ESO revenue during 12 months of 2018 amounted to EUR 623.4 million and, compared to the same period of 2017, increased by 1.8 %, when it totalled EUR 612.3 million. Despite lower electricity and natural gas tariffs set for customers of the Company and adverse effect of the public service supply activity that has been discontinued since the beginning of the fourth quarter, a one-off transaction on the transfer of the public electricity supply activity to UAB Lietuvos Energijos Tiekimas in the value of EUR 27.4 million and growing electricity needs of business customers increased its revenue.

During 12 months of 2018 ESO adjusted EBITDA* (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) amounted to EUR 167.5 million – 11.0% more compared to the same period of 2017, when the result was equal to EUR 150.9 million. The indicator increased due to more efficient Company’s activity and increased regulated assets base as a result of investments into renewal and modernisation of networks.
