Auto: Will it be a new beginning in 2019?

Shares of automobile stocks such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Ashok Leyland, Escorts, TVS Motor, Bajaj Auto and Hero MotoCorp will remain in focus, as most of them will reveal their sales figures for January on Friday. Though analysts expect only muted figures from these companies, some expect the New Year day sales push to have boosted sales for some companies. Any positive surprise on the sales front could trigger a sharp rise in the shares of those specific companies.
