Seven North Wales high schools have been ranked as red in the Welsh Government's annual colour code system.
It means they are the schools in need of greatest support, and will get an immediate, tailored package of intervention.
In total, they will receive 25 days of support a year and progress will be closely monitored to make sure needed improvements happen as quickly as possible.
No primary schools in the region were placed in the red category.
But the secondary schools that made the list by county are:

Denbigh High School
Flintshire
Ysgol Treffynnon, Holywell
Gwynedd

Ysgol Ardudwy, Harlech
Wrexham

Ysgol Bryn Alyn
