A disgruntled Honda driver has faced backlash from social media users after he shared a clip of a truck crashing into his car.
The man, named Luke, uploaded the dash cam footage of the moment an 'uninsured' truck driver smashed into his vehicle to Facebook, on Wednesday.
Luke tried to overtake the truck on a merging lane, while driving at speed, but tried to claim the truck was to blame for the collision.
Social media users were unimpressed with his driving and branded him an 'impatient f***'.
In the footage, both vehicles take a right turn at a junction and Luke starts to increase his speed.
As he catches up to the truck Luke accelerates and tries to overtake the truck on the merging lane.
But the truck driver does not appear to notice the Honda Civic behind him and suddenly swerves left, crashing into him.

Social media users were left unimpressed with Luke's actions and took to Facebook to blame him
'Maybe if you had patience, you'd still have a straight clean car,' one user commented.
Another added: 'All because you were an impatient f***. Don't blame the fella.
'Well if you weren't a typical impatient 'gotta be in front of the truck' type driver, that wouldn't [have] happened,' a third said.
While a sarcastic social media user questioned: 'In a hurry mate? Yep, u are the most important person on the road. U flop!'

Many social media users accused Luke of being impatient and stated it was his fault the accident occured

A few Facebook said they would have done the same as Luke and would have attempted to overtake the truck
But some Facebook users said they would have done the same and tried to have overtake the truck.
'Unlucky mate, unlike every other feather foot flog on this page I woulda tried to pass that truck too,' wrote one.
Another advised: 'When it doubt, plant the right foot.'
'90% would've done the same,' admitted another.
The video, named 'Civic V truck', which has already amassed 162k views, was shared on Dash Cam Owners Australia, Facebook page.
