India vs New Zealand Ind vs NZ 4th ODI Live Cricket Score Online: India’s dominant show in the first three ODIs, with the series won, was undone by New Zealand in the fourth ODI at Seddon Park in Hamilton. Asked to bat, India had a horrible start and none of the middle order batsmen failed to make the most of the opportunity. Trent Boult took a fifer with Colin de Grandhomme picking three to leave India in tatters.
Kuldeep Yadav and Yuzvendra Chahal stitched a stand worth 25 runs – highest in the Indian inning – to ensure somewhat respectable total. Once Kuldeep went, Khaleel, coming in for Mohammed Shami perished too. India were eventually bowled out for 92 runs for their seventh lowest ODI total and second smallest against New Zealand.
FOUR! FOUR!
Khaleel Ahmed comes in to share the new ball and is hit for twin boundaries by Henry Nicholls. The Kiwi opener picked it up early and swivel-pulled it through backward square leg. Then another boundary from a free hit over extra cover. Mind, no ball given for overstepping but it wasn't as replay suggests
WICKET!
Next ball, OUT! 14 runs from 3 balls and then Martin Guptill has been dismissed. Action packed first over. Not the best of deliveries. Length ball that was on the leg side, Guptill early into closing the face of the bat and the leading edge pops up to Pandya at backward point. Simple catch for Hardik. New Zealand are 14/1
New Zealand start with a bang
What a start for Martin Guptill. SIX, FOUR, FOUR and Guptill wants to get over with quickly. First ball, flicked over deep mid-wicket for a six. Next one, past mid-on for a four. And then past deep square leg.
INDIA ALL OUT!
India bowled out for 92 runs in Hamilton. Chahal remains unbeaten on 18 runs. This is India's seventh lowest ODI total. Khaleel Ahmed the last wickt to fall for India. Full and straight from Neesham, Khaleel fails to put bat on ball and is bowled. Ends India's misery with the bat this morning
WICKET!
India go nine down with Kuldeep Yadav falling to Todd Astle for 15 runs from 33 balls. Kuldeep sees the flight and goes for a slog sweep, only to get a top edge that's pouched comfortably at long leg by Colin de Grandhomme. India are 80/9
FOUR!
No luck on this one and Kuldeep Yadav with a proper shot for a boundary. Very full and a tad too straight from Colin de Grandhomme, Kuldeep just whips it elegantly over mid-wicket. Aerial but well over short mid-wicket
FOUR!
Chahal with a wild swing and it almost gets him and India a six. Wry smile from Matt Henry and Chahal is smiling too. Short ball and gets a big top edge that goes straight back over the keeper's head. One bounce into the fence
WICKET!
Trent Boult equals Richard Hadlee with most ODI fifers for New Zealand. Hardik Pandya's wicket does it. Gets to the milestone with a short ball, surprised Pandya who couldn't quite get out of the way. Gets the glove on it and Latham settles under it rather easily. Pandya dismissed for 16 runs from 20 balls and India are 55/8. Boult finishes with figures of 10-4-21-5
FOUR! FOUR! FOUR!
Hardik Pandya takes the attack back on New Zealand. Three boundaries in the 18th over and India may just avoid renewing their lowest ODI total (54 runs). First ball of the over is lifted over the infield for a boundary towards mid-on, next one past the bowler and then a pull over mid-wicket.
WICKET!
Colin de Grandhomme gets his third and Bhuvneshwar Kumar is dismissed for 1 run from 12 balls. Big, big gap between bat and pad as Bhuvi went for the drive on a delivery that came back in. Through the gate, BOWLED! India are 40/7
Sorry, sorry start
Lowest score for India at the fall of sixth wicket:
28 vs SL, Dharamsala, 2017

39 vs NZ, Bulawayo, 2005
Jadhav given LBW. India review
Kedar Jadhav has been given out leg before and India take the review. Trent Boult the bowler here. It's a fair delivery, Jadhav was shuffling across and is struck just above the knee-roll, no bat on it and Hot Spot confirms it, so does RTS. It is going on to hit the stumps, three REDS and it's OUT. Goes from bad to worse for India. Jadhav goes for 1 run from 7 balls and India are 35/6
Woeful start for India
This has been a poor start for India. Pitch playing a key role here?
WICKET!
Shubman Gill persisted at the other end as wickets fell and now that he had the chance to show some patience and resolve, he falters. A carbon copy of Rohit Sharma's dismissal. Good length, swinging back into the right hander off Boult and it is played back on the up. Played with hard hands and a simple chip catch back for Boult. India lose half the side in 12 overs and the bench strength getting horribly exposed today. Gill's debut ends on 9 runs from 21 balls
WICKET!
DK falls for a duck as well. Colin de Grandhomme strikes twice in his first over. Caught by Latham behind the stumps. Another India middle order batsman not making the most of the opportunity. Back of a length, shaping away from outside off, Karthik pushed without any conviction while playing away from his body and the edge is held by Latham. India are 33/4
WICKET!
Ambati Rayudu goes back for a duck. Outside off, played uppishly while inviting him for the drive. He couldn't resist, went for the shot, drove it on the up and towards short extra-cover. Guptill with a perfect catch. Rayudu had the chance to build an inning and he has thrown it away. India are 33/3
WICKET!
Rohit Sharma falters early in his 200th ODI. Hits it tamely straight back to Trent Boult who does well to hold on. India lose both openers early. Too full for the drive, Rohit pushed at it with hard hands and a sharp take for Boult. Rohit is dismissed for 7 runs from 23 balls. India are 23/2
WICKET!
Shikhar Dhawan has been dismissed leg before for 13 runs off Trent Boult. Walks up to Rohit Sharma for a little chat but opts not to go for the review. Looked to play this middle stump pitching delivery towards leg side but misses the ball completely. Hint of angle going down leg stump. To the naked eye it seems like it was clipping leg stump. India 21/1
SIX!
A ball later, the first six of the match arrives and it is Dhawan once again. Bounced up, touch of width to it and Dhawan makes the most of the pace and the short boundary to ramp it over the third man fielder for a six
FOUR!
First boundary of the fourth ODI comes in the third over of the contest. Matt Henry to Dhawan and there is width on offer. Dhawan leans into the drive and places it into the gap wide of cover point for a comfortable boundary
1st ODI for Shubman, 200th for Rohit
Milestone day for two Indian players
4th ODI underway
Rohit Sharma and Shikhar Dhawan walk out to the middle for the fourth ODI. Matt Henry goes for three runs in the first over
Pitch Report
Sunil Gavaskar and Scott Styris with the pitch report: "There is one short side here in Hamilton - at 58 metres. A new coloured soil here in Hamilton, it's just the second ODI played on this pitch. There is an even grass covering - there should be some pace and bounce, however, the captains might be worried about the track being two-paced with a tennis ball bounce. Not much in it for the spinners."
Captains speak
Kane Williamson: "We will bowl first. Looks like a good surface, hopefully, some dew will come later. The stats suggest it's a chasing ground, we need to take some early wickets. Few changes for us, Southee, Munro and Ferguson are missing out, Nicholls is opening with Guptill. It's a great opportunity for the lads at the top of the order. We need to keep improving as a squad, focus on areas and game plan."
Rohit Sharma: "It's been special (200th ODI). Long journey, plenty of ups and down. Couple of changes, Shubman Gill replaces Kohli, Khaleel Ahmed replaces Shami. MS is still not fit. He has shown a lot of promise (Gill), he has played here and was the Man of the Series in the U-19 World Cup. Highly rated and we wanted to see what he could offer to the team. We would have batted first anyway, the motivation is high and it's important to give your best when you wear the India colours."
