Mumbai: Ahead of the Lok Sabha polls, the chief minister Devendra Fadnavis, along with state president Raosaheb Danve and senior state leaders began poll review meetings of Lok Sabha constituencies from Tuesday night. On Wednesday he took review of North Maharashtra and Marathwada regions at his official resident Varsha in Malabar Hill. Subhash Bhamare, union minister of state for defence, said the meetings are about the poll preparedness of the party in the constituency. “In my constituency, CM took review about booth level preparation, appointments of booth level karyakrtas and issues in my constituency,” said Bhamre.
Eknath Khadse confirmed that the CM took review of two regions on Wednesday. On Thursday, he will took review of Western Maharashtra region. “As the elections are ahead, the party should take review and this is the routine exercise. In fact, in 2014, we had started review of each constituency six months before the polls under leadership of late Gopinath Munde,” said Khadse.
