Amritsar: MBD Group, one of the leading education companies in India with over 6 decades of experience, organized a workshop on the subjects Physics and Chemistry in Amritsar at the hotel, Kamal Banquet, Batala Road. The workshop was organized by Modern Publishers. Modern’s abc+ of Physics for Grades XI and XII was also released on this occasion, the book has been authored by Uttam Narayan Tripathi, an IIT-Kanpur alumnus, with rich teaching experience.

The key speakers in the workshop were Uttam Narayan Tripathi, Dr. Anup Srivastava, Dr. Vijay Kumar (H.O.D. Physics, Hindu college, Amritsar), Dr. Shweta (H.O.D. Physics, B.B.K. D.A.V. College, Amritsar) threw light on the major topics of these books. Besides this, S.P. Johar who is the writer of the Chemistry books of XI & XII, also spoke about the major topics of his books.

More than 200 teachers from various educational institutions attended the workshop. All the teachers present on the occasion called it a very commendable step in the field of education.
