Motorists Can Now Access Waze App Directions in New York Tunnels

Joining some other big cities, GPS will be kept online via Bluetooth-connected beacons

Tunnels in the New York region have become a more relaxing experience for drivers who can’t survive a moment without GPS navigation.

An army of small, Bluetooth-connected boxes developed by navigation-app service Waze started guiding drivers through the Holland, Lincoln, Queens-Midtown and Hugh L. Carey tunnels, on Tuesday.
