Karan Johar apologises for Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul episode

Recently, Karan Johar broke his silence on Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul's Koffee with Karan controversy. Cricketers Hardik Pandya and KL Rahul had appeared on Koffee with Karan Season 6 and were highly criticized for their comments on the show. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) suspended the players and even sent them back from Australia, where they were playing for a series against the Aussies.

Hardik's misogynistic remarks didn't go down well and he was lashed out at on social media. However, many felt more than Hardik or Rahul, it was Karan Johar's responsibility, as it was his show and he was the one asking questions. 10 days after the players were suspended by BCCI, Karan Johar has finally broken his silence and revealed that he had sleepless nights and felt responsible for the whole fiasco. KJo spoke to ET Now and said, "I have to say that I feel very responsible because it was my show, it was my platform. I invited them as guests and so the ramifications and repercussion of the show are my responsibility. I have had so many so many sleepless nights, wondering about how I can undo this damage, who is going to listen to me. It's now gone into a zone which is beyond my control."
