BSP president Mayawati took a swipe at Congress president Rahul Gandhi after the Congress president promised of providing minimum income to poor on coming to power. Mayawati wondered if it is another cruel joke like 'garibi hatao' and 'achche din'. BSP leader advised Rahul Gandhi to first implement schemes relating to poverty alleviation and she said that people can see results of "garibi hatao" slogan of former PM Indira Gandhi.
