PIMPRI CHINCHWAD: The civic body has developed a chat bot to help citizens with property tax details on the official website. A bot is a computer programme designed to have pre-scripted interactions with users about a particular subject. The bot, ‘Smart Sarathi’, will help citizens get information on their property and related tax on ‘www.pcmcindiagov.in’.
Residents will also get information on various schemes by the urban community development department on a mobile app, ‘PCMC Nagavasti’
Mayor Rahul Jadhav inaugurated the two initiatives on Sunday. The cat bot will operate round-the-clock on a pilot basis.
