NAGPUR: Lawyer Satish Uke on Tuesday claimed in an affidavit that he has in his possession a draft copy of the Sohrabuddin Sheikh fake encounter case judgment which was provided to late CBI judge Brijgopal Harikishan Loya by unknown persons for signing.
Undeterred by rejection of his unconditional apology by the Nagpur bench of Bombay HC , Uke filed the affidavit in HC stating that there was intense pressure on Loya to sign on the draft judgment even though he hadn’t written it. Claiming that he feared threats to his life, Uke stated he would provide the draft judgment copy to investigation agencies if a case is registered provided “I stay alive”.
In his new plea, Uke also claimed that Loya died due to poisoning from a radioactive isotope.
