The custody agreement between Rob Kardashian and Blac Chyna may have just taken a turn.

Over the weekend, Chyna, 30, was vacationing in Honolulu, Hawaii, where she stayed at the Ritz Carlson residencies. Although Chyna was reportedly supposed to have custody of their 2-year-old daughter Dream Renée during that time, TMZ reports, Kardashian wasn’t able to get in touch to drop off their little girl on Saturday — and the father of one isn’t happy about it.

“Chyna planned on having Dream stay with a nanny in L.A. while she was in Hawaii. Rob is mad because if either parent is out of town, the other parent is supposed to have the option to keep Dream longer,” a source tells PEOPLE of Kardashian, 31, who shares joint custody of Dream with Chyna.

“Rob doesn’t want Dream to stay alone with a nanny while Chyna parties in Hawaii. This is what he is mad about,” says the source. “She needs to tell him when she won’t be in L.A. so Rob can keep Dream longer. Rob is getting his lawyer involved.”

The source adds, “This situation’s not in Dream’s best interest.”

PEOPLE is out to Chyna’s attorney for comment.

And according to a second source, Chyna and her friends (including Kid Buu, who posted a racy video of Chyna twerking on him at the pool) seem to have made a big — and “inappropriate” — splash during their island vacation at the hotel.

“Blac Chyna spent Sunday with a group of friends. They hung out by the pool, partied and were loud. They are not the typical hotel guests,” the second source says.

“They were definitely being inappropriate in several ways. The girls were showing nipples, they were twerking and just being obnoxious. Hotel management had complaints, because there were families with kids that didn’t like the way they behaved,” says the second source. “You would never think Chyna is a mom by the way she behaved.”

In a video shared on her Instagram Story on Sunday, a sunkissed Chyna said “aloha” to her followers and said “don’t let nobody bring you down.”

“Aloha everybody! I’m sending positive vibes and love to everybody and I’m hoping that everybody’s having a great year. And if you’re not, guess what? You’re gonna have a great year and don’t let nobody bring you down,” Chyna said while sitting in the sunlight.

“Stay positive. Breathe in, breathe out, meditation is key,” she continued, and signed off with an air kiss, “And um, you’re beautiful.”

On Monday, she posted an Instagram Story video of herself walking — tagged in Honolulu — on the way to “spa time.”

“Trolling is at an all-time high people, so get used to it,” she said with a giggle. “Don’t believe all the hype, people. Love you guys.”

The drama between Kardashian and Chyna has clearly only intensified since they split.

Earlier this month, the Los Angeles Police Department responded to a call about a disturbance Chyna’s home, a public information officer confirmed to PEOPLE.

Cops arrived at the mother of two’s home but did not find any evidence of a crime, the police said. Due to the lack of a crime, the police do not release the names of those who were in the home at the time of the visit.

According to TMZ, the caller alleged that Chyna was drunk and unable to care for Dream.

Chyna allegedly got into a fight with one of her makeup artists earlier that day, which may have prompted the call. TMZ also reported that along with Chyna, a nanny was home at the time.

Police were then called again to Chyna’s home a day later, PEOPLE confirmed. Officers responded to a call at around 2:30 p.m. regarding a civil standby, meaning they were there to “keep the peace,” LAPD told PEOPLE.

TMZ reported that officers arrived to prevent an additional dispute allegedly between Chyna and her makeup artist. The outlet reported the makeup artist showed up with police in order to retrieve some of her belongings from the night before.

A representative for Chyna did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Kardashian and Chyna’s relationship has always been tumultuous. Earlier in January, Chyna used comments previously made by Kardashian in a deposition to challenge his claim that she physically abused him and should pay hundreds of thousands of dollars in damages as a result.

They allegedly got into a physical altercation in December 2016 in the home of Kardashian’s younger sister, Kylie Jenner. In September 2017, Kylie, 21, and her older brother sued Chyna for battery, assault and vandalism, alleging she attempted to choke Kardashian with an iPhone cord during a fight.

In the complaint, the siblings claimed Chyna made a “deliberate attempt to extort the Kardashian family for her own monetary gains,” adding that her decision to have a baby with the only KarJenner son was “nothing short of an outright fraud to shake down the family.”

Some 15 months later, on Jan. 18, 2019, Chyna filed documents, obtained by The Blast, which include evidence that bolsters her assertion that her ex-fiancé suffered “no physical injuries, no actionable psychological injuries” during the incident.

In a transcript of a deposition in the documents, Kardashian stated: “Being scratched by a female is probably one of the best things a man could ask for.”

The interviewer then asked him if Chyna’s “nails across your chest” — a reference to his accusation that she ripped his shirt in December 2016 — “felt good,” to which Kardashian responded: “It didn’t really occur to me that it was going to be, go into, you know, guns and strangling … I thought she was just being drunk, and you know, trying to be funny.”

When asked for clarification in the deposition, Kardashian added that the physical contact made during the shirt-ripping “didn’t feel good. That’s for sure.”

Chyna’s filing also revealed that Kardashian is seeking $500,000 in damages because of the night in question, which Chyna does not believe she should have to pay. She instead is willing to hand over $5,000 — $250 of which would be for the ripped shirt.

The year after the alleged fight, in July 2017, the exes made headlines once again because Kardashian posted graphic and expletive-ridden content about Chyna on social media — including three naked photos — while accusing her of drug use, alcohol abuse and infidelity.

After his social media rampage, Chyna and her legal team accused him of violating California’s revenge porn laws, claiming in court documents obtained by PEOPLE at the time that he allegedly hit her and threatened to kill himself multiple times. A judge later granted her a set of restraining orders against her ex.

Kardashian’s actions launched a two-month-long custody war over their daughter. The two agreed to joint custody in September 2017, PEOPLE confirmed — though at the time, Chyna’s lawyer Lisa Bloom said the decision “does not resolve all disputes between Chyna and Rob.”

The next month, Chyna filed her own lawsuit against her ex for allegedly damaging her brand and verbally and physically abusing her. In the filing obtained by PEOPLE, Chyna claimed she had suffered “significant damages” from his social media posts. She alleged the nude photo scandal — along with influence from the Kardashian family — are what got Rob & Chynaher and Kardashian’s E! reality show, axed before a season 2.

She also accused Kardashian of physical abuse, alleging that her ex once grabbed her phone out of her hand and “violently knocked her to the ground where she landed on her hands and knees” after she tried to call Tyga, with whom she shares 6-year-old son King Cairo and who previously dated Kylie for almost three years.

Kardashian, who denied the assault claims, and his family requested that the case be dismissed. According to court documents filed Dec. 27, 2017, in the Superior Court of Los Angeles and obtained by The Blast, Kardashian “generally and specifically denies each of the allegations” and claimed Chyna “did not suffer any injury or harm as a result of any conduct by [Kardashian].”

In a statement to PEOPLE in response at the time, Chyna’s attorney said, “We are confident that we will prevail on this motion and at trial.”

A judge recently granted Chyna a trial date in the case, set for Feb. 3, 2020, with pre-trial depositions of Khloé Kardashian, Kim KardashianKris Jenner and Kylie to take place in the spring of 2019.

Despite the drama, a source recently told PEOPLE that Kardashian’s family is encouraging him to stay focused on what’s most important: his daughter.

“They always knew that Chyna wasn’t good for Rob and they’re just trying to keep him focused on his family, and not on his ex,” a source said to PEOPLE.

“They are aware of what she does, and they obviously are not happy to hear that she’s getting in fights or acting negatively,” the source added.

Said the source, “They mostly care about what’s in Dream’s best interest, and in Rob’s.”
