Chandigarh, January 28, 2019: The IAS Centre, Panjab University hosted the inaugural session for the new batch of students. Ms.Urvashi Gulati, former Chief Secretary, Haryana and State Information Commissioner, Haryana was the chief guest on the occasion. Prof.Parmjit Kaur welcomed the students and the guests to the session. Ms.Gulati motivated the students and shared her experiences as an IAS officer with them. She gave them tips to prepare for the tough road ahead and said that perseverance will see you through.
The IAS Centre also honoured the students from the Centre who had cleared the interview for PCS (Judicial) in November 2018. Ms.Papneet the topper of the batch along with the others were happy to receive the token of appreciation. Dr. Shruti Bedi, Coordinator IAS Centre said that these students has taken the Centre to a higher level.
