With nine other seasons under their belts, My Kitchen Rules has had its fair share of 'villains'.

But in Monday's explosive first episode of the Channel Seven cooking show home-schooled Christians Josh and Austin could prove to be the most outrageous 'villains' yet.

Asked about their first impressions of the others in the first Instant Restaurant, the brothers didn't hold back with their opinions.

'I'm trying to hold my tongue as long as possible and just observe everyone in the room but I feel my word vomit coming, I can't hold it in,' Josh warned on-camera.

Pointing to pink-haired Jodi-Anne, who has been married to her husband and teammate Mick for more than a decade, Josh began.

'We thought that you were a lesbian and that was your gay best friend,' he said.

Next in the firing line were Ibby and Romel, socialites from Sydney.

'You two, what I thought that you two had in common was that you like both had mail order brides but the gay version,' Josh told them.

A shocked looking Romel was less than impressed.

'I think it's a little bit too early in the game to be calling someone a mail order bride,' he later complained to camera.

Others seemed to feel the same way, with Perth's Karito fuming: 'My blood is boiling and I'm trying to like, cool it down.'

But Josh and Austin weren't done yet and turned their sights on Andy and Ruby.

Speaking to Ruby and referencing Andy, Josh said: 'We thought that you were like a sassy plastic chick with a friend who you brought along to make yourself look prettier.'

Andy was left gobsmacked at the insult and responded, 'Did he just say that? I'm offended!'

Earlier in the evening, Austin caused chaos by expressing his opinion that he wanted other people to fail rather than Ash and Stacey, who were tasked with the first Instant Restaurant.

When he received backlash, Austin raged to camera: 'Get over it! I'm just saying my opinion. Those guys are nicer than all you fake people.'

Escalating things further was Josh, who spoke slower so the others 'could understand' as he repeated that he and Austin wanted Ash and Stacey to do well.

'You guys are like so sensitive. Like get cushioned walls,' Josh taunted.

Later, in a piece to camera, Blake and his sister Amanda described how tense the dinner party had become.

'He's making his way around the table, basically just roasting everyone one by one,' Blake explained.

'Josh has just unleashed at the table. They're dinner party terrorists!'
