Domestic insurance major Life Insurance Corporation of India sold 12.74 crore shares or 2.01 per cent in Reliance Industries. In a disclosure to the exchanges, LIC said that it sold stake in the corporate behemoth between 29.2.2015 and 23.01.2019. According to the December 2018 shareholding pattern, LIC held 7.63 per cent stake in Reliance Industries. Following the stake sale, its holding has been reduced to 7.263 per cent from 9.273 per cent, it said.
