P Ranganayaki of Negamam at Pollachi was taken to the Race Course police station. “Ranganayaki has been living with her son. He refused to take care of her after managing to take control of her properties. Seeking officials to direct her son to take care of her, she attended the grievance day meeting,” a police officer said.
After inquiring, police sent her to the Nagamam police station, who in turn would take the necessary action to assist the woman.
