Special Cell of Delhi Police nabs key supplier of ammunition to Maoists

NEW DELHI: The Special Cell of Delhi Police has nabbed a key supplier of ammunition to the CPI (Maoist) cadres and recovered around three dozen cartridges from him. The accused, Raj Bahadur (35), allegedly operated out of Delhi, Bihar and Odisha.


Pramod Kushwaha, DCP (Special Cell), said a reward of Rs 1 lakh had been announced on Bahadur's arrest. Police are interrogating Bahadur to ascertain the whereabouts of other members of his network. It was also revealed that Bahadur was arrested earlier too, for supply of cartridges to Maoists in Odisha.
