A trip to the top of Snowdon is on the bucket list for many across the world.
With its amazing views and relatively easy access to to the summit thousands every year make the trek to the top.
Thanks to the wonders of the internet those who have completed the hike can now share their experience with others.
There are over 2,000 reviews of Snowdon on Trip Adivsor with the overwhelming majority giving it five stars out of five but there are a few that were less than impressesed.
But the reasons why they didn't live are listed below and have to be read to be believed.

Too many clouds
This climber was less than impressed because there were clouds at the summit meaning the views were "murky". And apparently flies outdoors, in nature, are "not a good look."

Because they found it too difficult to climb
This reviewer rated their experience of Snowdon as "poor" because they overestimated their abilities and chose a route that was too difficult for them.

Because there wasn't a McDonald's on Snowdon

This particular reviewer rated Snowdon as poor because they "quite fancied a McDonald's but there wasn't one on this hill" and that "Mobile reception is pretty poor so don't rely on it for Facebook, Snapchat"...
There are no trees or bushes to pee behind
This hiker rated the mountain as poor as it wasn't quite what they expected, and there was nowhere to hide behind if nature calls.
They wrote: "Don't expect what they tell you in the brochures and take your own life into your own hands, its not for the faint hearted...Also don't expect to be able to use the loo as there are no trees bushes or rocks to hide behind."

Because it was cold at the top
This TripAdvisor user was surprised by the fact that the highest mountain in Wales and struggles to get over 5° at the summit and its name literally means "snow hill" - was cold.

Because Crib Goch - the toughest route up Snowdon - didn't have wheelchair access
Crib Goch - the most difficult route up the mountain - is described as an exposed scramble to be attempted only by those with experience and the one you should do if you really want to “climb” Snowdon.
Full of ridges and bare rock faces, it's a steep path in the first instance before it becomes a full-on scramble. It's literally known as one of the finest ridge walks in Britain.
However as the route is not wheelchair accessible, this reviewer rated Snowdon as "terrible" and "would not recommend to anyone". This is because she had attempted the notorious route in her chair and became immediately stuck.

And she's not the only one...

This reviewer was "disgusted" that the mountain was not wheelchair accessible and that it was too steep so gave it a "big thumbs down to the gem of the Welsh countryside".
