The Air Traffic Control Centre, managed more than 624,000 flights, over the past year, a year-on-year increase of four percent, Mohammed Thamer Al Kaabi, under-secretary of Civil Aviation Affairs, was quoted as saying.
The Civil Aviation Affairs is considering a number of projects, to develop the services provided by the Air Traffic Control Centre, including personnel training, he added.
“We are keen on providing the state-of-the-art technologies to Civil Aviation Affairs officers, to fulfil their jobs more professionally,” the Bahraini official concluded.
