MADURAI: A woman entrepreneur whom Prime Minister Narendra Modi had mentioned in his ‘Mann Ki Baat’ radio programme two years ago met him during his visit to Madurai on Sunday.
The PM had mentioned the name of Arulmozhi Saravanan of Madurai in his monthly radio programme because she had obtained a loan under the Mudra Yojana and got an order to supply thermos flasks to the Prime Minister's Office. Technology had empowered Arulmozhi to notice the requirement in the PMO.
Arulmozhi said meeting the Prime Minister in person was a dream come true for her.
She said the Prime Minister had asked her in English how her business was doing. She told him that her business was doing well. “Then the PM said ‘santhosam’ (happy) and ‘vazhthukkal’ (greetings) in Tamil,” she said.
