On Republic Day, Smriti uses mobile theatre vans to screen Uri in Amethi

Union minister Smriti Irani (File photo)AMETHI/LUCKNOW: Union minister Smriti Irani, who is likely to be fielded again from Amethi against Congress President Rahul Gandhi, on Saturday organised mobile digital movie theatre to screen Uri.
In the mobile theatre, Smriti can also be seen talking to Amethi locals.
“Shayad Amethi mai pehli baar aisa ho raha hai, ki aap film ke paas nahi chal ke jaa rahe, film aapke paas aa rahi bai” Smriti tells movie viewers as she wished them on Republic Day.
The viewers comprised old women, professionals and students.
Smriti also tweeted the concept of mobile digital theatre.
Earlier, a couple in Amethi, looking to tie knots, have conceived a wedding invitation where they have asked people not to bring gifts but instead come with a pledge to vote for BJP.
A footnote inside the wedding card, which mentions the marriage date as January 31, from the family of groom Ashutosh Tripathi, reads” 2019 Lok Sabha chunav mai BJP vote hi humara uphar hai, hum sankalpit Amethi se ek baari Delhi Kamal bhejne ke liye h” (Bring only pledge to vote for BJP in 2019 as a gift”)
