Bodies discovered 4 days after they took the extreme step

A middle-aged married woman and her alleged paramour were found dead at their rented house in Annojiguda under Ghatkesar police station area here on Saturday.

The police recovered their decomposed bodies, which were hanging from a ceiling and identified them as Bale Parvathi (40), a resident of Suchitra Junction, and Mallesh (26), a driver from Alwal.

Initial investigation hinted that the duo had committed suicide nearly four days ago and it came to light only on Saturday when the house owner sensed foul smell emanating from the house. He broke open the doors and found them dead.

The house owner, who learnt about their relationship, asked the duo to vacate the house immediately.

Police said that Parvathi had an extramarital relationship with Mallesh for the last few years and they were staying together for the last 15 days ago at the rented house. Parvathi, who is a native of Kaikaluru in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh, had two married children, police said.

“Soon after they eloped and started living together at Annojiguda, their respective family members lodged a missing complaint,” an officer said.

It was suspected that Parvathi and Mallesh had decided to take the decision as they were being humiliated by the families and society, which failed to accept their relationship, the investigating officer said. “However, the exact reason behind the extreme step is yet to be ascertained and no suicide note was found on the premises,” he said.
