Pulse trader shot at, cash bag looted

LUDHIANA: A pulse trader was seriously injured after two motorcycle-borne masked miscreants shot at him at Railway road on Friday late evening.
The victim was identified as Rajesh Kumar Gogi, resident of Chhatti Gali area and is a pulse trader at Grain Market on railway road.
Police officials said that Rajesh Kumar after completing his day’s work was going home on scooty with the cash bag.
When Rajesh reached at the curve near his house, the two miscreants with faces covered, who were already waiting for him surrounded him and pushed Rajesh down from scooty and fired gun shots at him. The duo then snatched his cash bag and ran away from the spot.
Police officials said that Rajesh received two gun shots, one in his leg and other in the lower abdomen area.
