Man to face court for aggravated robbery

A 30-year-old man will face the ACT Magistrates Court on Saturday, charged with multiple serious offences.

About 7pm on January 10, police attended a residence in Oaks Estate following the report of a disturbance.

Police will allege the man, in company with co-offenders, entered the residence before assaulting the occupant and taking a number of items.

The occupant was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

Police will also allege the man is the President of the ACT chapter of the Satudarah Outlaw Motorcycle Gang.

About 1pm on Friday police arrested the man in Belconnen.

He has been charged with aggravated robbery, inflict grievous bodily harm, make a demand with a threat to kill and attempting to pervert the course of justice. Police will oppose bail.
