On Instagram, the popular dating show shared a photo of the full cast, before giving devoted fans a short clip of the drama-filled first episode.

In the video, what appeared to be a friendly meeting between the brides soon turned dramatic as one bride said: 'I can totally understand why you're still single!'

Last year's season brought in blockbuster ratings for Channel Nine and eventually finished the year as the most-watched program of 2018.
This year's 20 contestants were selected from a pool of more than 10,000 applications.
