Vignesh S Iyer scored a match-winning 90 against Le Chatelier (Madurai) to guide St Bede’s AIHSS (Chennai) to the final of the Muthoot Group Junior Super Kings Inter-School T20 tournament at the ICL Cricket Ground in Tirunelveli.

In the first semi-final, St Bede’s won by 93 runs, thanks to a quick-fire knock from Vignesh. Batting first, the victor posted 182 for four in its 20 overs. Le Chatelier was never in the run chase at any point and finished at 89 for six. In the other last four match, Sri Jayendra Saraswathi (Coimbatore) beat Santhome HSS (Chennai) by four wickets.
