Present gifts to govt. school students

Students of Jyothismathi Institute of Technology and Sciences (JITS) celebrated the Republic Day by giving away useful items to the students of Government High School in Sapthagiri Colony in Karimnagar town on Saturday.

Learning that the Government High School did not have funds to organise sports events and distribute prizes, the JITS students decided to do raise funds and formed themselves into Jyothismathi Brigade. They approached their college management with their proposal. JITS chairman J. Sagar Rao promised to help them buy the gifts and in distributing them.

The Jyothismathi Brigade volunteers took with them gifts to be given away as prizes and fruits and distributed them among the government school students. The school teachers and students thanked the Jyothismathi Brigade volunteers for their gesture. JITS training and placement officer Vishwa Prakash Babu was present.
