After Priyanka Gandhi Vadra’s entry into the Congress and subsequent appointment as General Secretary for Uttar Pradesh East, Shashi Tharoor has openly acknowledged that the Gandhi family holds a lot of clout in the party. He has also said that there are no alternatives to the Gandhis in the Congress.
