The January transfer window has almost passed by and it has proved to be quiet time for Everton.
Manager Marco Silva has insisted he was not interested in seeking reinforcements during the current window, but was keen to off load a number of his fringe players.
And director of football Marcel Brands has insisted that fans wishing to see any players arriving at Goodison Park during this winter window are going to be disappointed but that of course doesn’t stop the Blues being linked with a whole host of names across Europe.
Here Connor Dunn looks at the latest transfer news concerning the Toffees.
Cenk Tosun
Who? Everton’s out-of-favour striker.
Where? Tosun is reportedly a target for Crystal Palace.
The Daily Mail reckon Roy Hodgson is looking for additional firepower this month and has enquired about the Turkish frontman.
What? Phil Kirkbride reported earlier in January that the Blues would only accept an offer upwards of £20m for Tosun, who joined the club last year.
Turkish journalist Gokmen Ozcan, however, believes Tosun will reject interest from Palace, Zenit, Schalke and several other clubs to remain at Goodison Park.

Donny Van de Beek
Who? A 21-year-old midfielder who plays for Ajax and has made appearances for the Holland national team.
Where? Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf - via Sport Witness - have stated that Everton are interested in van de Beek.
The report states PSG are also interested in the 21-year-old who has bagged four goals in 18 Eredivisie appearances this term.
What? De Telegraaf report that Van de Beek would not be interested in a move during the mid-season and will wait for the summer to assess his options so that’s the interest registered but no move to be made then.
Stanislav Lobotka
Who? A 24-year-old Celta Vigo midfielder.
Where? Everton are making ‘good progress’ to sign Lobotka according to Sport Witness.
The Slovak has made 14 appearances in La Liga this term after joining from Danish outfit Nordsjaelland in 2017.
Lobotka’s current deal runs until 2023 with reports from France suggesting he could be a replacement for Idrissa Gueye.
What? It would make sense that clubs would be keeping tabs on a highly-rated and top-performing player in case there were any need to replace an outgoing but don’t expect any bids to be coming in this window.

Andre Gomes
Who? A midfielder who is on a season-long loan with Everton and has largely impressed during his time with the Blues and also helped raise £100k for charity this week by taking part in a sponsored hug-a-thon.
Where? Roma and Lazio will both move for Andre Gomes during the summer according to Calcio Mercato.
What? The midfielder almost joined Juventus several seasons ago but reports from Italy now suggest both Rome clubs will fight for his signature during the off-season. Mercato suggest the 25-year-old would be worth around £25m.
If this is true expect Everton to also be in the hunt and judging by how well Gomes has been getting on, on Merseyside you’d have to think the Toffees would be front runners for his signature.
