Indore: There’s no respite from cold condition as residents witnessed chilly winds coupled with mist on Thursday morning. The cold condition also led to drop in maximum temperature by three degrees Celsius. The Meteorological department said that the condition would remain same with drop in night’s temperature after the sky gets clear.
On Thursday morning, denizens woke up to a misty and chilly morning and the cold wave which was blowing throughout the day affected daily routine of people. However, clouds kept the night temperature high which was three degrees Celsius above the normal. Due to chilly winds in the morning and evening, people preferred to confine themselves indoor.
Maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded at 23.8 degrees Celsius, which was 3 degrees below the normal while minimum temperature was recorded at 12.6 degrees Celsius, which was 3 degrees above normal. Due to chilly weather, the roads wore deserted look in the morning and evening.
One more dies of swine flu
One more patient suffering from swine flu died at a private hospital on Thursday. With this, the toll has reached four in city since January 1 this year. Besides, two more patients have tested positive. In all, 10 swine flu patients have been identified so far. The rising number of patients from H1N1 virus in the city has become a major concern for the health department.
