SPPU signs MoU to foster industry relevant research

PUNE: Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Eaton to foster industry relevant research advancements towards building state-of-the-art technological solutions.

Eaton is a global technology leader in power management solutions that make electrical, hydraulic and mechanical power operate more efficiently, reliably, safely and sustainably. The MoU aims at following collaborative research and open innovation in bringing, new concepts and problem statement, with an objective of fostering collaboration off-campus and on-campus.

“Both the institutions will synergise their expertise in their respective areas, wherein the academic expertise of SPPU would complement Eaton’s product development capabilities. It will help to prepare industry relevant syllabus and increase the employability,” said Aditya Abhyankar, Head of Technology Department.
