A minor girl, who was reportedly kidnapped and raped by a driver was rescued by the Sanathnagar police on Thursday.
Police arrested T Durga Prasad (26) and booked him for kidnapping and sexual assault of the minor.
Following a complaint, from the parents of 17-year-old girl from Motinagar, the police registered a case and rescued the victim. The accused would be produced before a court for judicial remand, police said.
