Patrick McKenna has been appointed head of product planning at Mini USA.
In his new role, McKenna is responsible for the product strategy for the BMW subbrand in the United States and for developing and executing the strategy for consumer events.
McKenna had been in charge of Mini USA brand communications since May 2017.
The communications job will be filled by Steve Ambeau, who joins Mini from RAPID RTC, an automotive software provider.
McKenna and Ambeau will report to Thomas Felbermair, vice president of Mini Region Americas.
Mini's U.S. sales dropped 7.3 percent to 43,684 vehicles in 2018.
