A family-of-six have been forced to leave their home after an infestation of mould spread through their entire house and affected their lungs.
Brisbane mother Rose Singh had been living in public housing with her five children when water began leaking through her walls and windows.
She told Yahoo 7 that the Queensland Housing Commission (QHC) failed to properly fix the leaks and consequently mould began to spread into a number of rooms.
Within months she was forced to send all of her furniture to the tip, blaming the QHC for not dealing with the mould in her Manly West house.

'It doesn’t matter how many times they fixed it, it would still come down through and flood, I had mould in my lungs, growing in my lungs, I was that ill,' she told the publication.
Ms Singh claims she now needs daily medication as a result of the mould, while her children are suffering serious health issues of their own.
'I had aches, pains, headaches, sinuses,' Ms Singh's 13-year-old daughter Rabia told Yahoo 7.
'She’s only 13 and she’s had to have many days off school,' Ms Singh added.
Ms Singh claims she is still being asked to pay rent, despite moving her family out to live on the floor of her mother's house last month.
A spokesperson for the Department of Housing and Public Works told Yahoo it was 'committed to ensuring all public housing is maintained to a standard consistent with community expectations.'
Daily Mail Australia has contacted the Department for further comment about Ms Singh's allegations.
