They're the Australian golden couple known for their public displays of affection.

And once again Nicole Kidman, 51, and Keith Urban, 51, didn't hold back as they attended the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday.

The couple engaged in a full-blown PDA as they passionately kissed courtside in front of fellow tennis spectators.

Sitting in the stands to watch the showdown between Danielle Collins of the United States and Petra Kvitová of the Czech Republic, Nicole and Keith appeared to only have eyes for one another. 

The pair, who have been married since 2006, appeared oblivious to onlookers as they leaned in to share a tender kiss. 

Indeed Nicole, clad in a white lacy dress, looked completely at ease with her country rocker beau, who wore a navy blue collared shirt and black jeans.

The power couple even enjoyed a joke during their tender courtside moment.

After their PDA, Keith leaned into Nicole's ear to whisper a few words, which made her laugh.

She tilted her head back and then gazed at Keith with a look of amusement and adoration.

Onlookers could only speculate at what the private joke was between the pair.

Given this year's star-studded crowd at the Australian Open, which has included Anna Wintour, Baz Luhrmann, Alexander Skarsgard and other Hollywood heavyweights, the couple have no doubt enjoyed mingling with friends old and new, and sharing stories about their time in the spotlight.

It has also been an opportunity for the couple to take a much-needed break from their hectic schedules.

Keith is in Australia for his Graffiti U World Tour. The musician will head to Sydney on Friday for a show at Qudos Bank Arena, before heading to Canberra, Brisbane and Melbourne.

Nicole will be at the premiere of her new movie Destroyer in Sydney on Monday.

The couple appeared to be having such a good time at the tennis, they were more than happy to see their faces on the big TV screens at the Australian Open venue.

Both Nicole and Keith smiled happily as their faces appeared on monitors above the crowd.
