Eastern Naval Command defeated Sarada CC comprehensively at the HZL Ground in The Hindu (FIC)-Essar Cricket Trophy here on Wednesday.

Batting first, Sarada CC was bundled out for a paltry 99 in 32 overs. For ENC, Rahul claimed 3 wickets for 4 runs, Varun Choudury 3 for 17 and Gopal Singh 3 for 24. In reply, ENC scored 101 in seven overs. For ENC, Lakhan Singh top-scored with 65 while A. Salvi scored 33.

In another match at the Andhra Cricket Association-Visakhapatnam District Cricket Association (ACA-VDCA) B Grounds, City CC defeated Royal CC by 147 runs.

Batting first, City CC scored 338 for 8 in 40 overs. K. Srinivas scored a brilliant 118 studded with 11 fours and 10 sixes, while D. Sai Ram scored 57, Akshaya 38 and Prajwak Chauhan 34.

In reply, Royal CC were all out for 191 in 31.4 overs. A. Pavan Sai scored 62, while for City CC B. Sampath took 3 for 34 and K. Shankar 3 for 37.
